The 23/24 sports season has come to an end and it was special for AZEMAD Sport!
he partnership in organizing the WSE Champions League by Azemad was one of the highlights of the season for AZEMAD Sport. SigmaStars’ organization lived up to expectations and we witnessed one of the best-run competitions in the world, played on a rink designed, developed, and installed by AZEMAD. It culminated with Sporting CP winning the trophy for the fourth time, establishing themselves as one of the best teams in Europe.
In Spain, FC Barcelona became Intercontinental Cup champions and dominated nationally by winning all competitions: the Spanish Supercup, the Copa del Rey, and the Parlem OK Liga.
In Portugal, FC Porto had a highly successful season, winning the Continental Cup and achieving the famous double by winning both the Portuguese Cup and the Placard Championship.
SL Benfica had a prolific season, capturing trophies in both men’s and women’s categories. Benfica women’s team won all national competitions they participated in: the Elite Cup, Supercup, National Championship, and Portuguese Cup. In the men’s division, SL Benfica secured the Elite Cup and Supercup at the start of the season.
In the Portuguese second division, AD Sanjoanense claimed the national champion title after securing promotion to the top tier of the sport.
AZEMAD is proud of these worthy champions and will continue to support and promote the development of roller hockey, hoping to achieve and contribute to even more successes in the future.
