4th Edition Elite Cup with AZEMAD support

Last Monday, September 9th, was held the official presentation of the 4th Edition of the Elite Cup, which will take place between in Portimão Arena,September 20, 21 and 22th , this year with support from AZEMAD which will be the main sponsor for the event. The AZEMAD Elite Cup will have in the bill, the 8 best Portuguese Roller Hockey teams: FC Porto, Sporting CP, UD Oliveirense, SL Benfica, OC Barcelos, HC Braga, Paço de Arcos and Juventude de Viana.

Besides these top teams and today´s hottest hockey players, AZEMAD will bring news to the competition: a removable floor made for the event, with new features and a lighter coloured wood, that aim to bring greater contrast with the ball, as well as making it more spectacular for those who watch, both in the pavilion and through televised broadcasts. The Official Elite Cup Ball, also developed by AZEMAD was used and considered a success in the World Roller Games, offers groundbreaking features for playing, as well as an innovation regarding stamping, which promises a longer durability of its design, to be able to withstand the wear and intensity of the tournament matches.

AZEMAD also designed an Official Stick for the event that served as a gift from the brand and the organization both, to Dr. Isilda Gomes, Mayor of Portimão which is this year´s European Sport Capital. The AZEMAD Elite Cup promises to serve as a marking for the beginning of the 2019/2020 sports season with great shows and very competitive games, promoting the sport throughout the country and, especially, together with a region where Roller Hockey is growing.
