Yesterday, on June 18th, Azemad’s facilities welcomed the first-team delegation of Óquei Clube de Barcelos’ rink hockey team. The meeting marked the end of a highly competitive season and provided an opportunity for joint reflection, consolidating the close cooperation between the brand and the Barcelos-based club.
The visit allowed the athletes and coaching staff of OC Barcelos to have direct contact with Azemad’s development and production center. The delegation had the opportunity to follow in detail the manufacturing process—which combines traditional craftsmanship with technological innovation—of the rink hockey sticks and equipment used throughout the season in the most demanding competitions.
During the session, the professionals shared performance feedback regarding the behavior of the materials on the rink. For Azemad, actively listening to elite athletes plays a fundamental role in the R&D (Research and Development) process, ensuring the continuous evolution of quality, ergonomics, and sporting efficiency standards.
